Walter Baker
Greetings Oh Great Wise Ones: Got a problem giving me a headache, have been ReRigging a model following'Barry Zundel' training. All is well until I get to the Elbow. In an action the elbow moves to the from NOT the back. Any suggestions on how to get it to go the right way. Wildsided
This might sound stupid but is the rig flipped? Or rotated 180 degrees? Like is it designed to be installed on the other side and then mirrored?
itsjustme
It would be easier to tell you if you delete your character geometry, save it as a separate model and post it. That way we could take a look at what is going on.

Walter Baker
If I did this right here is just the rig and Relationships as a .prj file hope this works. Rig.prj
itsjustme
All it needed was the rotate offsets to be set to "0" on the BicepLeft bone's "Orient Like Control Bicept Hint Left" . Just turn off "Compensate Mode" when you apply that constraint. Hope that helps. Rig_update.prj

I'll note that Barry Zundel's tuts were made before A:M was changed to automatically turn on "Compensate mode" for most constraints (since you nearly always want Compensates) In Tool>Options>Action there is a check box for "Old Compensate Mode" that will restore the old behavior of requiring you to explicitly choose Compensate Mode every time you need it.
