It turns out the bug report did get submitted and appears on the database, but that error message made me think it hadn't been so I tried four more times and that's why there are five of the same report.

It seems the error occurs if I try to attach a file. None of the five duplicate reports has the necessary files attached.

I get the above error message when I try to upload a substantial file, like a video, to A:M reports.

I'll note that I still get the above error when I try to attach a substantial file to an AM Report.

Have you sent an email to Jason regarding this?

I don't think he monitors this area of the forum regularly.

At any rate, it sounds like a server disconnect where the setup for Mantis isn't pointing to a proper place to upload/store attachments.

when I try to attach a substantial file to an AM Report.

Does it work when the file is unsubstantial?

I ask because if it does then it might be an upload limit set within Mantis.

Yes. Small PRJs are OK.

I note the A:M Community server appears to be down at present which may relate to why you can't upload certain files to Mantis.

Wild guess that is likely wrong: Text files (such as projects) might be stored locally but attachments of other types stored elsewhere on the server/node that is down?

It also may be that old pointers point to an older server space that is no longer available.
