Fuchur
When doing a First Person Shooter game is it good to model the whole player or just the arms, hand and weapons ? Depends... u can get away with arms weapon and legs or something like that but the movement may be more realistical with a whole body and you would have the option to go 3rd person or create dieingscenes or inbetween movies etc. *Fuchur*
MMZ_TimeLord
Remember if your player can look down far enough or into a mirrored surface, they should be able to see themselves. Also, in game shadows are MUCH easier to calculate if you have a model of the whole body present. You can do a VERY low detailed area for the back of the body that is never seen unless you will be allowing 3rd person view as well. Hope that helps.
