*A:M User* Roger Posted May 20, 2012 *A:M User* Share Posted May 20, 2012 Does anyone have a tutorial on installing TSM2 in a model? It can be any generic model, doesn't really matter I'd just like to see an example before I try rigging with it.
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted May 20, 2012 Hash Fellow Share Posted May 20, 2012 Have you read the one that's in the folder where TSM2 is installed?
*A:M User* Roger Posted May 20, 2012 Author *A:M User* Share Posted May 20, 2012 I must have missed that, I'll have a look for it.
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted May 20, 2012 Hash Fellow Share Posted May 20, 2012 Give that a read. It glosses over the task of properly assigning and weighting CPs but it does explain the workflow. I'll note that the time to weight CPs and add fan bones is before Rigger is run, not after.
John Bigboote
I'll note that the time to weight CPs and add fan bones is before Rigger is run, not after. BUT- the re-wieghting process can be done anywhere down the line... I seem to be ALWAYS adjusting weights as I work. There is a nifty feature that can do about 70% of your weighting automatically... right click on the model and choose 'auto assign weights'. It will assign weights on a proximity basis, and all at 100% to a given bone. Watch out tho- it assigns weights to bones that should not be weighted to... I seem to remember in the feet and at the base of the spine. I have often thought about doing a video tutorial for TSM2, I have it down. KJ'd Beast
Is TSM2 (The Setup Machine) still available for A:M? I don't see it listed on Anzovin's site. I only see the one of Maya.

I only see the one of Maya. Now Free for A:M! (Works for PC only) You will need to use 32-bit A:M to run the TSM2 plugins. You can have both 32-bit and 64-bit A:M installed for no extra charge.
