John Bigboote
Hey- searchin' the forum- but I don't even know what I am looking for... is it possible to have an audio file be the basis for a bones rotation... or general movement? Seems I saw something about this here once... Thanks!
NancyGormezano
You might be thinking of something John has played with - using amplitude of wav file to drive percentage pose. http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?s=&am...st&p=347940
MJL
I followed the link Nancy, in the heading at the top it says "no longer available" does that mean what I think it means? That you can't do that anymore? How bout with Version :15J?
NancyGormezano
I followed the link Nancy, in the heading at the top it says "no longer available" does that mean what I think it means? That you can't do that anymore? How bout with Version :15J? Yes, I am channeling John right now...and...um...he's...um...no...huh?...wha?...er...ok...wants to say....I think......getting static now...um...he said that there was once an external program at one time that existed that possibly produced a file for some version of A:M that drove poses. And probably doesn't work anymore. John will at some point have to confirm or deny my existence.
John Bigboote
Thanks, Nancy---I get static too when I try to channel John.
johnl3d
Yes Nancy and Matt there is a john ...in most buildings, I have an external program Amplitude the will control a percentage pose base on the volume of the sound. Matt is you think this is what you need email me through the email here on the forum link and I'll help you . I 'll try posting an example here. Using windy sound in hash data to generate action to control pose "sound" on model "point" matt_example.mov sound.zip mattsample.zip did not include windy sound
Admin Rodney Posted October 4, 2011 Admin Share Posted October 4, 2011 A:M has/had a midi controller but that's all I have to say about that. (because that's all I know about that) Perhaps that is related to your program John?
johnl3d
Rodney you are correct but it has more control and setup and requires I believe a midifile The plugin is meant in addition with the help of a midifile to steering properties of a choreographyobject as a function of the note height or volume. The midiformat 0 and 1 is supported . At properties become except string (ShortCut to) and timeproperties (PathConstraint.Lag,Chor Range and so one) everythings supports . http://www.sgross.com/plugins/plugin7/index.html
