Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted January 30, 2011 Hash Fellow Share Posted January 30, 2011 I remember a thread where someone at least partially explained how to have multiple keys in a smartskin and get a smoothly interpolating result. Does anyone know where that is or recall what their strategy was?
NancyGormezano
I remember a thread where someone at least partially explained how to have multiple keys in a smartskin and get a smoothly interpolating result. Does anyone know where that is or recall what their strategy was? All I remember is quite a bit of smartskinning being done in Holmes video on the Hand gizmo. In his part 2 video - He sets multiple keys in order to make the gizmo control the individual finger control bones smoothly. As much as I love the videos (especially Holmes'), they are a bitch when trying to recall/find info (especially with A:M Films), as no easy scrubbing. I'm not sure if there is a printed doc with the same info. There doesn't seem to be a way to set the curve type, other than setting additional keys. http://amfilms.hash.com/video/298/Building...nd-Gizmo-Part-2 Edited January 30, 2011 by NancyGormezano

HomeSlice
Here's written tut for smartskins/multi-dimensional relationships I don't think that tutorial includes what Robert is looking for. Here is a simple smartskin tut, which seems a little closer to what you are looking for Robert, but it might be too basic for your needs. http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=29742 I finally uploaded my video tutorials for download. It costs a little bit of money to have them hosted for download, so they cost $2 each to download. You can get the links to them here: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=39436
