higginsdj
I have forgotten so much How do I get to weight paint my CP's to bones or was this just available in Weight Mover? Cheers
HomeSlice
I wasn't aware that you could ever "paint" weights, even with Weight Mover, but Steffen has a plugin called Transfer_AW that works like Weight Mover. http://www.sgross.com/plugins/index.html
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted January 19, 2010 Hash Fellow Share Posted January 19, 2010 Weight painting would be interesting, but we don't have it. I've done a lot with bone fall offs when there were too many CPs to weight manually. Weight Mover would try to approximate the weighting of a thin mesh onto a dense mesh. I havent' made a big study of it though.
higginsdj
Hmmmm. I think I must be confusing features with another app. Might be something AM Paint might want to look at though.... Cheers
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted January 19, 2010 Hash Fellow Share Posted January 19, 2010 Don't think of it as a missing feature, think of it as encouragement to model with low density meshes. But bones falloffs are pretty cool. You can squish and stretch them in all sorts of ways to fine tune the result.
higginsdj
Ahh - bone falloff - thats what I was missing. Was trying to find reference to CP weights etc in the TR manual but nothing in the index. Cheers
