Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted August 26, 2008 Hash Fellow Share Posted August 26, 2008 I am trying to download tsm2 and run it with my animation master, but i donot know what to do about it. You're trying to download it? I just tried the link and it still works. The manual is in the TSM2 folder that gets placed in your AM/hxt folder after you run the installer. That's on PC. did you get that far? (btw, this is mentioned in the post with the download link) And Caroline has a thread that steps thru every detail of the rigging process

superrepus
I have v 13. I ran the installer for TSM2. I downloaded the TSM2 file to myAM/hxt folder. Then, when I run A:M, TSM2 does not show up in File > Plugins. In the process of trying to look for it by going to options and looking for the file by changing the file type, I've managed to not even have a Plugin under File. Any suggestions on installing this the correct way? Thanks!!
T-Dogg
I also use v13, so I will try to help. When you run the installer and it asks for a location, type in AM's main folder... not the hxt folder like it sounds like you did. In my case it was C:\Program Files\Hash Inc\V13.0. Try running the uninstall and then re-installing it. It shows up for me, although I haven't tried using it yet. It should be under File>Plug-Ins>Wizards. You should see TSM Builder, Flipper, and Rigger.
superrepus
When you run the installer and it asks for a location, type in AM's main folder... not the hxt folder like it sounds like you did. In my case it was C:\Program Files\Hash Inc\V13.0. I tried this initially. Since it didn't show up after I started A:M, I installed it in the HXT folder to see if that would work. It didn't. I then went into options in A:M and tried to look for it by file type in both the V13.0 folder and HXT folder (not sure I'm explaining this correctly.) After I did this, I went to File and found no Plugin selection option. I'm thinking that I told A:M to look for the wrong type of file or a file that doesn't exist or something, dunno. John Bigboote
This is all PC right? Don't know if TSM2 works on the MacApple.

NancyGormezano
This may be the problem? 1) check that you have the correct files/folders for tsm2 under the correct A:M hxt folder and 2) check that you have the correct path to the correct hxt folder under tools/options/folders/extensions (hxt) 3) restart A:M after correcting
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted January 29, 2010 Hash Fellow Share Posted January 29, 2010 Do a search for the file and folder names Nancy showed you on the drive that you installed to. They gotta be somewhere. then just manually move them to the locations Nancy showed you
