ANIMATED DISTORTION BOX

Whether it is possible in АМ to make thus. Sphere-pupil to place in DISTORTION BOX, after its deformation, it should rotate being inside DISTORTION BOX, keeping the set transformation. It is necessary for creation of a pose on/of of management by an eye by means of Constraint Aim Et. I shall be grateful for the given project or Tutorial.

Thanks!

Yes, you can do this.

deform the shape in a pose window.

then when you animate your model, turn the pose on.

the dbox would have to be at least associated to the eyeball bone

and the pupil bone is a direct child.

How to associated a bone with dbox?

right click on model make new pose(either percentage or on/off).

in pose window, right click add new dbox

in dbox properties window, drop down tab you can assign to a bone.

then all child bones of that bone distort with the dbox. its very cool.

Ok ok ok,

the problem is that your eyeball/pupil is made up of 1 object.

You need to have 2 objects.

One large ball - eyeball colored white

one small ball - pupil colored black

Now the bones

Eyeball bone, with Large eyeball mesh attached to this bone

Pulip bone, child of Eyeball bone. the small ball mesh is attached to the pupil bone.

then make the new pose with the dbox assigned to the eyeball bone.

Do you want to try and set this up first?

I want you to do it, so you learn, we will help you as you go.

I try to do what I can:)

There is another way to do this which is probably the more desirable way...

that is the same setup bone wise as above, but scale the eyeball bone in

a pose window, the pupil will scale accordingly and will always be onthe

surface of the eye.

then just turn the pose on or have it default to on.

I think this was an old Anzovin trick.....

But possible by means of distort not only to scale the bone, but also add the necessary form mesh straight in window of the action? That is to say similarly if this did by distortion mode.

sorry, but I just did not understand this completely.

I think you were asking if the mesh could be formed while using the bone method fo the scale of the eyeballs?

If so, then the ans. is no. when using the bone method, you can only scale in the x the y or the z.
