Admin Rodney Posted March 13, 2007 Admin Share Posted March 13, 2007 Exercise 11 doesn't specify the creation of the giraffe's eyes. Many completing the exercise stop short of modeling the eyes and just leave the decal to represent them. You can create them as either as open geometry/meshes or by creating a torus and shaping that. I wouldn't build them into the head mesh but rather just place them where appropriate. The Deformation tool can be useful in shaping the eyes If you are going for more realism you can mold this shape around a sphere that will become the eyeball. Once created duplicate and flip the eyes orientation for placement on the other side.
