The first page contains an H.264 QT movie, but page 2 contains the bulk of the text. The movie on page 1, the subject of the item, has this direct link.

Great tut. Victor did a 2 1/2 hour lecture on this stuff for AnimationMentor. And that was just the first half.

Well I took a stab at putting what I learned into practice with scarecrow. (It's brighter than it should be due to the H264 format).

You know Ken... I'd say that was a very successful implemenation of Victors lesson.

Great shot. :)

I couldnt see the victors tut but I like how extreme you went on the squash pose. You can get away with a lot for a couple of frames like that. Maybe a teeny bit better if you would have lead in with the brows more.

Nice work!

I'll implement that right away. Then I'll make it a HAMR project.....rendering takes too long.

Great resource Theresa.

...

Hey! What's that? Real eyes cannot open from shut to wide open like that in one single frame like that! ... (Joking of course :D )

Oh - my - god.... I'm turning into an animation geek! Channel 4 in the UK is currently showing an "animation top 100" programme, and they have just shown a clip of The Incredibles...

...and all I could think of was "I know exactly who animated that shot!"

Thank you Teresa!

Victor's tutorial is awesome!!! I love the way he breaks it down and explains exactly how the movements are applied and the reasoning for each pose.

Ken,

You're application of the techniques on Scarecrow is really good too!!!!
