The inspiration to this animation is from a book by the author H G Wells - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H.G._Wells.

The book is called The Open Conspiracy. And you can find it here:

http://www.mega.nu:8080/ampp/hgwells/hg_cont.htm

Summary: 'The Open Conspiracy' was Wells' 'Blue print for a world revolution'; he regarded this book as his finished statement on the way the world ought to be ordered. Possibly he underestimated, or ignored, the fact that it is often in the interest of subsets of the human race to act against other subsets. Moreover the emphasis on religion seems odd, from a rationalist.

You can find more of his books here: http://etext.library.adelaide.edu.au/w/wells/hg/

In the book The Shape of Things to Come he predicted World War II and he also has predicted World War III in that book. The book ends in this way:

And it must needs be the work, first of all, of an aggressive order of religiously devoted men and women who will try out and establish and impose a new pattern of living upon our race.

Most known is he for this:

War of the Worlds, Orson Welles, And The Invasion from Mars

The ability to confuse audiences en masse may have first become obvious as a result of one of the most infamous mistakes in history. It happened the day before Halloween, on Oct. 30, 1938, when millions of Americans tuned in to a popular radio program that featured plays directed by, and often starring, Orson Welles. The performance that evening was an adaptation of the science fiction novel The War of the Worlds, about a Martian invasion of the earth. But in adapting the book for a radio play, Welles made an important change: under his direction the play was written and performed so it would sound like a news broadcast about an invasion from Mars, a technique that, presumably, was intended to heighten the dramatic effect.

He has something to say about our world today - the last chapters in his book The Shape of Things to Come:

1. Monday Morning in the Creation of a New World

2. Keying Up the Planet

3. Geogonic Planning

4. Changes in the Control of Behaviour

5. Organization of Plenty

6. The Average Man Grows Older and Wiser

7. Language and Mental Growth

8. Sublimation of Interest

9. A New Phase in the History of Life

You can wonder is this what H G Wells told us about?

And what is happening now - our planet is in a turmoil:

http://blogs.washingtonpost.com/earlywarni..._in_dc_com.html

Today, somewhere in the DC metropolitan area, the military is conducting a highly classified Granite Shadow "demonstration." Granite Shadow is yet another new Top Secret and compartmented operation related to the military’s extra-legal powers regarding weapons of mass destruction. It allows for emergency military operations in the United States without civilian supervision or control

Someones tell us this:

FEMA CONCENTRATION CAMPS: Locations and Executive Orders

Privacy There over 800 prison camps in the United States, all fully operational and ready to receive prisoners. They are all staffed and even surrounded by full-time guards, but they are all empty. These camps are to be operated by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) should Martial Law need to be implemented in the United States and all it would take is a presidential signature on a proclamation and the attorney general's signature on a warrant to which a list of names is attached.

Well - if you have learnt your history - listened to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wonderful_Wizard_of_Oz - you have perhaps understand something. The easy way to control a nations or a world population is to have control over the money. Some bankers have understood this!

You can have a look on Federal Reserve and its secrets: http://www.apfn.org/apfn/reserve.htm

And you can download a video to have a look and listen:

And back to The wonderful Wizard of Oz:

The earliest musical version of the book was produced by Baum and Denslow in Chicago in 1902, and moved to New York in 1903. It used the same characters, and was aimed more at adult audiences. It had a long, successful run on Broadway. Baum added numerous additional political references to the script. For example, his actors specifically mention President Theodore Roosevelt, Senator Mark Hanna, and John D. Rockefeller by name.

The wonderful Wizard of Oz is about Bimetallism - a monetary standard - the gold AND silver standard

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_int...ul_Wizard_of_Oz

Even the title has been interpreted as alluding to a political reality: oz. is an abbreviation for ounce, a unit familiar to those who fought for a 16 to 1 ounce ratio of silver to gold in the name of bimetallism,

"Thats a lot of talk...The talk doesn't match the dress"

--Jay, on Project Runway [critiquing a designer who goes on and on about the artistic inspiration behind her simple black dress with a yellow stripe...]

Maybe try focussing on the message/emotion/question you want to raise. Then you can craft an animation to illustrate it. Right now it seems you have too many threads with these points too consider, but not much in the thought of the animation to develop them.

My advice: Don't TALK about art, CREATE it! Plenty of people can talk about your art after you have made it, but as the artist you should be concerned with making it. if all you do is talk, then you won't be able to create that work which is worth talking about.

You seem to have a lot of philisophical, political, ethical, existential things that are on your mind, and also a desire to lead the audience to consider them. But you have to focus on crafting the art to do your talking for you.

Thanks for answering!

You are one of the ones I admire here on the Forums.

You are giving me advices - You are welcome - But I understand, too!

To me it can be good to do something - animating fast and dirty. Most ones have not that goal. I can understand that. But goals can be different. Someday I perhaps take my time doing something nicer. But it can sometimes be about to tell a story. Have a look at The Money Masters - http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3510313821923167501 - and perhaps you will figure something out.

My point is make the animation speak for you. Hell, record your lengthy post and have the character lypsync to it. Writing your long blogs about what is drifting through your mind is what drives people crazy--why not make yourself an animated avatar and have him read-out your lengthy pronouncements and musings? That would be more interesting...(not much more...)

I think I see what Will is saying...

If the dialog was given by a character in an animation (words and pics in the background/foreground/whereva) it would make for some storytelling. :)

Isn't that what animation is about? Telling stories?

The content of the message... now that is another matter of course.

Not all dialogue is created equal. The value of that would be for the viewer to decide.
