looks awesome!
if it had some film grain it might blend into the back ground a bit more.

the car shadow might be getting effected by the light you have by the sign...are you sure you need it?
also bases on the shadow it looks like your bus isn't on the ground O_o
also as for the brake lights you should use 2 lights. if its intended for the brake light to cast light, have one light to do that. then for the volumetric have have a second light(preferably a small bulb) with no diffuse, shadows, or specular on, just volumetric. that might make it easier...

Pixila
hey everybody i found something pretty awesome, for anyone that to lazy to make a website or think its to hard or complicated i found a solution! from the people that made cgsphere(which the a:m setup i still need to make[or someone else]), comes pixila a free online portfolio! you can have your own avatar, banner and as many pictures as you want! i already have one and i think its pretty cool. i'm still gonna make my own site but this will work for now.....
and heres mine..
and apparently its still in beta...

even though this program is designed so you don't have to use primitives, sometimes using one can help especially in some mechanical models.
heres a plugin site that i used...which includes a primitives plugin
-
lookin good! the only problem i see is the front of the car, maybe you should lower the splines there too?
i'm lookin forward to the finished model!
-
dude that was fast O_O

i like the bone idea th most...but the cloth idea might work....

we'll you can't see any flaws in the mesh if its in toon (especially when theres no shading). and i'm not sure if using hair will work unless you strategize it so that its not on the whole body...cause having on the whole bod doesn't sound like it would work out O_o....

Hey guys, you've been quiet on this project for awhile. Just a voice in the dark saying not to give up now after ,what, a hundred pages of posts.
alot more really, theres another post that hit a thousand i think
-
why are you rendering in toon render? its hard to tel if the model is right or not...save that for a final version. also, do you plan on using hair?
-
wow i learned alot just watching that O_o...looks like theres alot people could use for anything there ! glad you made it a dvd to! looks totaly worth the price!

looks cool if i may make a song suggestion use some familiar game songs like this one...
FF7 fighting- piano its a really good one...
laos it might be cool if you had the camera rotating differently in a few of the scenes in gets a bit repetitive . but other than that its really great! oh and teachers really like it when you do flashy flash stuff!
-
also the volume seems a bit low...i had to turn the volume on my speakers all the way up...and it still wasn't loud enough.....
-
ah man i was thinking of doing this!....after my many, many....unfinished projects ....

arms shouldn't move so slow, but the mouth and head are great!
-
sup dude, you'll love it here! we have cake....good cake too...and it has a little yellow guy sticking out of it.....
-
that happened to me once when some patches weren't going were the should be....make sure the lines are flowing and not stoped.....also make sure that some how theres two patches on one patch...
-
but its really better to assign them your self...unless you have a really dense model....
-
this is the absolute best program for making wood textures, you can export them in several qualities all tillable.
LOVE IT!
i've used it for a while and just now thought to add it, its used to make the floor, table, picture frame, and the thing above the blinds in this scene of mine.
first texture test
i also used the same texture for the floor as a bump map...
