  1. Thanks for the directions Al - though I'm getting more paranoid about trying it. thanks again -jk NOTE: Making changes to the registry can sometimes lead to disastrous results. If you are inexperienced or unsure of what you are doing, you should leave this to someone more experienced. I have exported my registry numerous times, but have been fortunate enough to never had to import the settings again. Use the instructions below at your own risk. I cannot assume any responsibility for their accuracy or how they are interpretted or used. Good advice "Guy w.h.h.r." thank you too. -guy who's about to hose his registry
  2. Thanks for the link Will - I'm getting to work on it right now :-) -jeff Hey, it opened the program.... And it actually worked great for about 15 seconds. But the sdme old vapor lock stuff started up again. Very frustrating. It's got to be some conflict with something else I got on this machine. BTW it's version 11.1. I see all sorts of other patches there - like "cleaner"? What might that do? Thanks again ya'll for your help and / or insights :-) Warmly, Jeff
  3. Oops - guess I forgot to pinpoint the question :-) Sorry... the question: 1) does this "missing KSPI32.DLL" messge mean anything to anyone? And (2) the "regedit" function: any quick way to access that? Need to open DOS mode? Thaks again!! -jeff http://www.youcandraw.com
  4. Howdy all, been looking all over for answers here: AM keeps locking up (after working seemlessly for 6 months) and goes into an ultra, ultra slow motion mode (one click in any direction or 1 degree of zoom takes like 15 - 30 seconds) I watch the CPU use and it zooms to 100 % with any little command, so somethings wrong Make a long story short, I un-installed, re-installed twice now. I try to open the program and i instantly get a "missing KSPI32.DLL" pop up (with the big Windows "doink" sound) I've seen a couple posts about install / reinstall about using the "regedit" function -- I have no clue what that is. And I'm a little scared to find out since the computer AM runs on is so very vital to my other daily operations (Some day I'll have a dedicated machine) Thanks for any insight! Warmly, Jeff Kasbohm www.youcandraw.com
