  3. That looks great! The face is really really good. I like the use of splines but if he is a strong man shouldnt he be bigger? With lots of muscle?

  5. Wow. That render shows that AM can compete with the other more $$ apps. I think thats just as good as other stuff Ive seen from the bigger well known apps. Great work! It makes me feel like Im in the room.

  11. Sorry to post this again but I read the whole chat again and there is so much going on and so many cool things I think that every Hasher needs to read this! I think what Martin is planning is going to blow pople away! But what got me thinking again was Martin saying //The renderer is static (except for HDR). // Why is it static? Does it mean that the render wont be changed except adding HDR? I think HDR is going to be great but does that mean nothing else will be added or changed? Like whats going to happen to photon mapping? Ive been trying to use it and its great but not easy to learn. Thanks Rodney.

    John-I went to your website and I checked out Skycast. Wow what a great app! But I have a couple of questions. You said that you can use a image map as the base-whats a good size to work with? And after you create the action file how do you use it with AM inside the chor? Or a different action? Are you planning a update for v11 and v11.5 at the end of the year?

    Wow! They are so cool! I love them! They are simple but have so much character. So much fun. Your work is very inspiring. But you did use Skycast that you wrote. Now I have to buy it to! Are there any tutorials explaning how to use it and do you update it when ever a new ver of AM comes out? Thanks- Great work!!
  18. I read through all these posts but I dont get it. Do you model in AM then I guess you export it as a obj or dxf? Then in Zbrush you paint decals to the model and save it as a what? How do you export these maps from zbrush back into AM? But isnt this like what you do in Photoshop? Can someone break it down where I can get it? Thanks! John your work is really-really good!

  20. That looks really cool. You said that you have to avoid hooks, three point and five point patches, because they don't work with displacement maps - why dont they? And how can you fix this or at least work around this. Does Hash know this?
  21. What a great piece! I think your family will love it. Can you maybe have the monkey face us so we can see its face? How did you add the video to the animation? Did you use After Effects? How did you do this? Thanks!
