  1. Might I suggest that after frame 907 that you lack the head and chest/ shoulders on Poon raise up and maybe have him lower his right hand and maybe twist his body to make it look like he puts his hand down on ground or off camera to make it look like he is pushinh himself up?

     

    But I must say this is REALLY GOOD!

  2. Ok evidently I dont have a player that plays mpeg4 lol but the player I do have gave me an error saying it couldnt decode it

    but at the same time it did play the sound but not the video.

    So I am assuming mpeg4 does work with sound.

     

    Both should play sound but you have come accross one thing that the chor plays sound when rendered at MPEG4 but not soreno?? Can you save the .chr file and upload it here you might have to zip it first then we can try it too help find out what is going wrong??

  3. I have an idea in this scene Scarecrows says this

     

    "No formal titles, like 'Mr.'or 'Dr.' or some such for me. Brains I may have but pieces of paper I do not"

     

    I want to introduce a prop for SC, a scrolled up paper that SC will pull out of camera view and hold a scrolled piece of paper and unroll it to show a diploma then toss it away or it goes off camera. I think this is a way to give this character something to do with his hands during this long Dialog section and If we do this right might bring a slight gag into the scene.

     

    Do I have permission to see if anyone want to make such a prop?

  4. If I may make one observation and a suggestion on something I feel might be worth looking at is at 8:18 when trot rushes off I think an anticapation pose would help out. The rest is very good! but that sudden motion of trot running off needs some anticapation. Exit stage Left ;) Just my way of trying to help

  5. This is frustrating.

     

    At this point I just want to either...

    find the secret I'm missing to putting these things together (I added a temp chor for 2_04_04) or

    just start to redo what I've done (it isn't too much and should go quicker the second time around)

  6. Twitch on a side note this forum is paid for and maintianed by Hash and one of the rules is not to mention other software packages by name. Just say I use another software package to do this and that no need to mentions the actual name.

    the one thing that strikes me is we see the 1st crow start screen right and fly to 2nd screen then camera goes back to TW then we go back to what I think is the 2nd crow but he is from center screen to down hallway and around corner. This appears at least to me that time has stood still for crow and it's confusing weather the 2nd crow is the same crow or a 2nd one? perhaps if we make the 1st crow enter and exit then 2nd can enter and fly 3/4 of all the way? maybe have the camera fallow one of them with a gentle path as if we are flying beside it some thing to show the audience that this a 2nd crow and it has importance to story

  8. Why do you need the dialog action longer? It's only there for the speaking part.

    If you're doing facial animation inside the action itself, then just do it and the keyframes you make will set the length of the action.

  9. I wondering if you can afford to give you some more time and I thinking of having bill strike the match on the side of pipe? That's the thing that is striking to me :P is how is the match being light? Just a suggestion get official approve from MArtin or Holmes before doing this but I think it might add to this scene

  10. Ok am I having a hard time getting this to work Ken I did what you said and I have some problems.

     

    1) what are those bones that I showed in beginning of video and why are they being brought in I am only touching facial nulls but these are being key framed as well in chr action files that I do not want them in?

     

    2) Once I set the setting then I am locked out of manipulating the character in chr#1 which I am doing body poses in?

     

    3) the part that I feel I am not communicating well enough is that yes I can blend the actions together and maybe I am missing something but when I go to the stand alone action it's in default pose and I can not copy paste the poses in? so I have a pose in chr action facial1205 how do I bring that into the stand alone action?

     

    "have the action file 100 percent from its first frame I would match the last frame of the chor action to the first of the action by changing either or both."

     

    thanks but how do I match the poses?

     

    anyone wanting to look at chr it's committed and I know it's me I just don't know how sorry for being a pain :rolleyes:

Thanks for the reply Bendy toons I found that I can add/blend one the 1st chor action into the 2nd stand alone action but I am wondering is once I am in the scound stand alone action file I then animate in the action file window correct not the chr? so in mid sentance this transation takes place and when I open the stand alone action Trot has the default facial pose not what was left over fromthe chr action so I do I procede to animate in the action window?

  12. Sorry I can only think of this video question it's 12 megs zipped but I feel it might be worth the download if this help others as well as me understand how to blend and work with multy actions of different types.

     

    I first wanted to just start this "were looking ation sooner to time it with camera move and treat it as a seperate scene but Martin says moving or stretching it will affect wave file which I think is something we do not want to do? If I can just drag this out without changing wave file if you can show or tell me how that might be easiest fix. Anyways I tried to explian my problem is this video. lets maybe disscuss this in this thread so that other newbies like me might learn something ;)
