  1. Okay

I understand that Winkie crowds might be "animated Hair". Since there are no Winkies yet and I have not been involved and have no idea on how to use the SVN "yet" I did a simple test using thom. I made 3 sets of tgas of thom doing the same action from 3 different angles. I made 3 hair materials each using a different series as the animate hair sequence. I applied the hair tp a single patch and adjusted the density to have one hair per patch. Anyway here is the results

I think there is 20 thoms and only 20 patches ..Is this helpful ?

What ver was this test done on? can you post a screen shot of emitters settting I have a sequence that is 123 frames long and I want to to start at a time frame and repeat Right now I am am playing witht eh crop and range but I can not get my test renders to show movement

  3. We'll need some camera fog to make the distant look more distant, and another hill behind and to the left of the one that is there. It probably can be just copy and pasted into position.

  5. Hi gang,

I just joined the SO project, so I'm looking to get my feet wet a bit. Other than getting the SVN data (I'll do that tonight), where do you suggest I start getting familiar with the project? Reading the screenplay seems a likely candidate at this point! ;)

    Nice to be here!

You can go through the SO forum and if you see something you would like to try just ask. Homeslice has a Status report posted here http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?s=&am...st&p=273328

of tasks that are done and what is still left to do take a look at that. You can also tell us what your skills are modeling? rigging? (we need this big time) texturing, Animation (not ready for that yet).

  6. If I might make a suggestion maybe video tape your self acting the scene out as you think it should be animated. Maybe over act it out a bit see animation needs to be push more than real life to look better. This would do a couple of things that would help us.

    1) It would give us something we can edit together and see if when joined together looks good.

    2) It would slow your talking down by having you do some body motion head turns and hand acting during your dialog. From your tests I fear I am going to have little time to animate anything other than lip sync.

    3) It would show the animator what you want to see which if we do #1 means we get animation that will look good once joined togther.

Just my opinion does anyone have any thoughts on this?

  7. I would like to try rigging this character if no one else wants it. This is my 1st attempt installing a rig since TAoAM exe. so this is going to take me some time and help.

  8. Ok back from vacation I going to work on camera motion for SC91 and post it when I have what I think looks good once we agree on that I add the final hair winnkies to set

  9. Nice sequence! Did it make it into the movie?!?

Martin Told me if an opportunity arises he will put 2_02 which Robert worked on and 2_01 which Robert directed into the final movie. A copy of two has been sent off for review for possible sale. Depending on there response and if they want things changed or fixed maybe we can put these different ver. of these sequences into the movie. It's a wait and see situation Robert and I are finishing these either way.
