  1. I did not know double click brings up the windows sound mixer, learned some thing new thanks Robcat. The other thing you could try is to record a sound with AudioCity and import that and see if your own sound file will play, just an idea. My stereo sound problem was a faulty sound out cable, twisted the cable and stereo is working again

  2. Just tried importing a wav file into AM v19.0i , the wav file imports right click brings up the play button and it will play sound in the right channel only, no left  channel. I'm sure it worked in both channels in v17 I'm on windows 7, something is not right the wav file has two channels? but will not play left and right Channels? this is strange. In windows media player it plays in stereo.

  3. Not sure but the diffuse layers in my decal stamps are now set to be reflective? V19 can someone else check this, if i turn that layer to 0% the reflections stop but there is now no diffuse option?

  4. Thanks Rodney for the heads up on this editing software, it has the basics one would need. Alpha channel and green screen tools work pretty well.

Still messing with it, have not tried an image sequence yet but will be next on the to do list.

No Mel ware or adds were loaded so that's a good thing, no catch yet.Free but with a limited set of plug in's enough to do most thing's the catch I guess is if you want more plug in's you will have to donate $5 to join the forum's which will give access to more stuff I'm guessing

Like Rodney said right clicking is your friend :)

  5. "I assume by 'library' you don't mean the forum's A:M Exchange area."

Rodney yes I did mean for you to put the Data in the AM Exchange, it's not my work, just mdl's I have found over the years. New users should get a taste of what is possible with this software,The T rex is a good example of this always loved watching the walk cycle in bone's mode, seeing how it was put together.

Libraries are always a tough job keeping them in some sort of order, I am guilty of having issues with loosing things lol

Hope the file helps MAYAman perseverance pays off in the end :)

  6. The zip has a T rex saved as v14c which may not load in v12. It lost the paths to the decals so I re-linked the decal path's and saved in v14c long ago. The original T rex mdl is in there as well but when I've opened it in the past there's always been problems and a crash if I messed with it to much. The 14c version opens for me fine in windows7 Am v18.0p last night with the walk cycle no problems. the other files are random mdl's

  7. As Fuchur said close the windows, unless you have plenty of Ram. Normally when I'm working I only have one window open at a time and every bodies work space will be set up differently. If I'm modeling I may have a Cho set up as well just for quick renders but it's always closed when I'm modeling other wise your PC is trying to up date two windows when you make a new spline.

If I'm tweaking a material it's the only window open at the time, I made these mistake's at beginning as well :)

  8. Your on to it Dan, it's subliminal like you say if it's not there then the image just looks not quite right. Ceiling tile's are 600mm squared normally, so your one's look pretty close maybe two full tiles and a half tile for the width :) Is the skirting board missing from the door side of the hallway? sorry I know this is not finished yet just grabs my eye, I work in the building trade so maybe I'm too picky :)

  9. Wow nice hair, your really on a roll here Dan, this last image screams scary. I think the semi-realistic style of your character fits the style, look of the world you've created.

Check out the heater under the window sill, it's these complicated bit's n pieces that take time to model but help sell the finished image. It almost looks like it's a panel from a comic page :) keep up the building of little details we notice and appreciate them :) Good job on the new Annie

  10. Tar looks awesome and the Croc's are going to be great bad guy's, I can see them swimming through the water like the aliens appearing out of the dark murky deeps. Camera drops down to Tar's feet on the river bed, as his foot lifts the Croc's are revealed :) The short episode style is great, easy to story board and lock down your story points. But your adding water and splashing to the blood n gut,wow your a keen man. I guess solving your water look/style now is a good idea, then its in the quiver for later episode's. I'm liking this project a lot your drawing's really sell this story, who doesn't like rampaging hippo's

  11. like that idea, switching between views of the room. Nice idea doing it with the decals on/off, save's building two sets and doing it in the edit. What Nancy said "show more drivers" then everything is adjustable over time. Be nice to have a layer of smoke hanging down from the ceiling. Render the smoke layer with an alpha channel and drop on the camera as a rotoscope or a layer in front and do the same thing turn it on/off as needed. Not sure if the camera rotoscope is animatable but the layer is.
