  1. Funny you should mention that - I'm having problems getting the cutouts - I'll probably have to redo the saucer - dammit! I'll try it with 12 as you suggest. Made some progress on the nacelles today. They were particularly fiddly on the endcaps, but otherwise quite straightforward. Also finished the impulse engines on the end of outriggers, and reshaped the outriggers to more accurately match the blueprints.
  2. I put bevels on the cabin, but not on the arm. Didn't want the model to become too complex - although spose I could go back and bevel it. Using the model for a website job - probably output the animation into Flash. I'll give that Duplicator wizard and go for the tracks on the other side. Haven't tried using that before...
  3. Yeah me too I tried texturing it on my PC last night since it isn't working properly on my Mac, but my P2 400 isn't fast enough... Hope that upgrade comes soon... Of course, an OSX native version of Animation Master would be cool!
  4. First thing I could think of - also rewatched First Contact last week, so that might help
  5. Tracks are pretty painful to do - mostly because they're so complex. But finished one side. Just working through the boning now, then I'll duplicate to the other side - crossed fingers everything will copy across okay...
  6. Okay so here's the big ship to go along with the shuttlepod.
  7. Here's my digger model - rotoscoped from some photos I took from a roading construction site. I'm hoping to animate it for a job I'm doing at the moment. I'm trying to do the tracks at the moment, and I'm trying to bone them so I can get the tracks to turn (as in the excellent tutorial for tank tracks on the AM Resource site).
  8. Here is my shuttlepod from Enterprise. I still have to texture it, but my AM2002 isn't applying decals at the moment. You apply them, but you can't see them on the model, nor will it render. I think it's playing up with my current release of OSX, so I'm waiting to get an upgrade for AM. But I think the model is coming along well. Next I'll make up the Enterprise NX-01 to go with it.
