Yes, that might've been why I received the notification in that forum
Anyway all's well 😊
-
I also think it might be for specific sub-forums
As the above post didn't give me an approval notice 🙌

Hi @Rodney,
Was wondering if the moderator approval for my posts could be lifted please?
It was gone for the last week but now it's suddenly appeared again, and keeps telling me my posts need approval
I'm on a bit of a timeline with my projects, so any help I can get here would be appreciated 🙏
Having to wait for approvals puts me in a pickle, as on and off I'm looking for, hopefully, quick answers to A:M workflows
Thanks as usual! 🍻

That's great news!
@robcat2075and everyone else who chimed in, this has been sorted now and I have what I need to activate my subscription
The wait was excruciating but all in good time guess!
Thanks @Jason Simonds !

Don't you have a way to contact him directly? Phone or WhatsApp him maybe? Not sure what he might be using for messaging.
At least to check up on him?
-
Thanks @Fuchur
At this point, I can't say if Jason has read my message or if he's going to be able to respond to the issue
I've gone ahead and cancelled my order for the subscription, as I haven't heard anything on the issue from Jason yet
What I do hope Jason would address eventually is the response time to store issues, whatever they might be
This is important for attracting customers and keeping them
There is obviously something amiss and it would be great if communication can be expedited between users and the company
For my part, I'll still wait for a response from Jason here, and then I would gladly place the order again, except this time around I'd create a store account first 😀
-
Thanks @Fuchur, now it makes sense
Although I'm thinking if this is a known issue, what's the solution for people who use Gmail?
And does this mean that other email providers will work? Or is there a list of preferred email providers for Hash?

I finished watching the LAT TSM2 Biped Rig setup session
Have to say TSM2 didn't really turn out to be as big an investment as I thought it would be! Relieved 🤤
Moving on to the Quadruped version now and the sundry list thereafter...
Thanks a bunch Rob! 🙏🍻
-
I've been reading up on TSM in the dedicated thread
Thanks also for the link 🙏
While it took me a couple of hours to go through the Saucy Rig, TSM looks like a bigger beast to tackle
I think I'll do a bit of reading first and then jump on to your LAT video

Hi @Rodney, thanks for the info 🙂
After order completion, the confirmation screen showed up but there were no links or other download information provided
I thought I would receive an email for further action but so far no emails have been received either
Is there any way to contact Jason other than messaging on the forum, which apparently he might or might not check until the weekend, if at all 😕

I've never used it myself. I presume it can be repurposed as a quadruped rig but i don't know what the process would be.
That's not an issue. TSM2 makes conventional bones and constraints.
But it says on the 'tin' that it works with AM15 only
Or do you mean I use TSM in AM15 and export the model after rigging to AM19, and it'd still work?
-
Thanks Rob!
I'll have to admit that I have not seen your LAT featuring TSM yet.
I did however come across one of your posts discussing how TSM comes with a Quadraped rig...but that's the extent of my search
Main reason being that I just finished going through the Saucy Rig videos by @Mechadelphia
A few days ago I 'decided' to go with the Saucy Rig after a quick comparison of the featured rigs
I liked the idea of the 2008 rig as it relates to modernising the 2001 rig
And I like the idea of the Saucy Rig as it builds on the other rigs and improves them in certain areas
I never did look into the TSM rig for concerns of compatibility with the current AM versions
But I'd presume your TSM tips would work on the Saucy Rig too?
Unless it requires very specific TSM features that might not translate well to the Saucy Rig?

Hey everyone!
I've been searching the forums for tutorials on rigging a quadraped like canines and felines, beasts of labour etc., but not necessarily long neck animals like giraffes or brontosauruses
Didn't come up with any results except for discussions on a few areas of quadraped rigs
Has there been any tutorials made on the subject?
-
Thanks @Fuchurand @robcat2075
As far as spam, there's nothing in the spam folder so that rules out any emails going missing 😕
Robert, if you're getting emails instanty then I'd guess something is off somewhere with my order?
My purchase used a Gmail address so that technically should work without the store servers throwing red flags!
-
Hey @Fuchur, thanks for dropping by!
How do you mean Spam?
Do you think Jason is receiving a lot of spam messages in his inbox?
-
It's possible
I read in a different thread that Jason was looking to fix the store issue with whatever the problem was
But that was some time back and I'd think it would have been sorted by now 😕
-
Lol! 😂
Yes, paid through PayPal and I have screenshots too in case Jason requires them
Still, haven't received any emails yet for the order. I just happened to get screenshots of the order and confirmation screens
-
Just remembered that I checked out as a guest
In that case I wouldn't happen to have access to an 'account' right?
Which means I wouldn't be able to check all that Summary information as outlined in the screenshot?
-
I did message Jason abut 9 hours ago, maybe he's busy as he hasn't replied yet
Guess I'll have to wait a bit for this
Thank you Rob!

I was wondering how long does it take to process orders after they've been placed?
Will there be an email sent to the email address used while placing the order?

I have Jim on Facebook, I'll ask if they are still available somewhere.
I suspect the reason there haven't been as many A:M-specific tutorials on texturing is that the practices are so similar to practices among all 3D software. There is already a large body of texturing information out there that can be used with A:M with little translation.
Thanks, it would help a lot if Jim would allow for it
What I'm trying to wrap my head around is how to go about 'unwrapping' the models to then decal and stamp
I'll admit that I got a bit confused after watching @zandoriastudios decaling video on the subject
Decaling simple models is fine and very straight forward, no doubt
Once you get to the unwrapping of complex models and messing around with flattening the mesh and so on... it's left me with a jumble of workflows that I can't seem to connect together
-
Thanks @robcat2075
Perhaps I diluted my intended question the first time by making the post a bit verbose
There are a lot of really nicely made tutorials on modeling, rigging and animation and I've seen them all.
I've also been frequenting your Tutorial list, and there are a lot of those
Very kind of you to share your knowledge and a big thank you!The reason for my original post was more to do with the 'lack' of decaling/texturing tutorials in AM, at least tutorials that would compare in
completeness and quality of the tutorials on the other subjects like modeling, rigging and animationI did find a thread on a set of decaling videos from Jim Talbot but the links are broken and I can't seem to find them anywhere else
Were Jim's tutorials commercial or were they provided for free?
-
Hey @robcat2075
Thank you for your detailed explanation on the topic
Although, I meant that I was looking for a video tutorial or a series of tutorials on the subject as it applies to AM
I've been doing 3d since the 90s so I think I've got the basics covered
Some of the links for tutorials on texturing in AM are broken, or they redirect to the Forums homepage
I haven't been able to find a working texturing tutorial on the forums yet, maybe it's because there's a lot of content to go through and I might need to keep looking
Was there ever a Tech Talk done on the subject of texturing?
I've watched all of the Tech Talks and they are massively helpful

Hello everyone
What is the one best method of texturing models in AM?
I know there's Decals and Stamps, and I've seen the various videos on this topic
@zandoriastudiosvideo on YouTube was a big help
Although it seems the process might be a little too involved? Or has it changed in recent versions of AM?
Is there a video tutorial that explains the process of taking a model to texturing and decaling and baking for export?
Thanks!
