  1. Hello,

i am working on a complex face Modell, and i need most of the features to be real geometry (Nose, region under nose etc.). Therefore my model is quite complex. Now i have the problem, that the surface tends to have small little bumps (see picture). I need to get rid of these, and have a very smooth surface, like a fotomodell?

Is ther any cool and easy way to archive this aside from try and error ... ?

Thanks for helping me out on this!

  2. OK, iam going to post a image in the wip section.

The idea with the prcelain material sounds good, but i dont have it and all the links to it wont work :-( (maybe because i am behind a firewall ...)

Can somone help me with this, maybe mail me the material?

    I am using V 10.5 / 11 ...

    Thanks

  3. Aww,

i made a real nice screen, showing of a wireframe and a rendered image, but unfortunateley, I dont know how to post it here ... :-( i can not put it up to the web anywhere, so i can not link to it, which is, as far as i know, the only way to post something ...

I did not try the porcelain material, becaus i want to avoid the porcelain look ... i have a combination of cellular mat, with an attribute and texture maps for color, bump and specular size ...

    Cheers,

  4. Hi there,

i am working on a female face, which my client wants to be as realistig as possible. He wants to have almost all features of the face as geometry, even eyebrows and stuff. Now i have a face, which is working fine, and which has all the features and details he wants, but it has a lot of splines as well. Now i have the problem, that the surface of the face starts to show light shadows, because the splines are all a tiny little bit out of the correct alignment, and therefore the geometry is a tiny little bit "bumpy", which causes the shadows.

Any smart ideas to get rid of this?

Thanks for helping me out on this!

By the way, what would you charge for a complete fotorealistic female model (free posable)?
