  1. so is there any other rigging style that i as or almost effective as sqetch that i can use in AM: 2004?...please say "yes" i'm desperate here... What part of the Squetch Rig? The actual squashing and stretching? You could take out the Hand Gizmo (or re-work it so that it doesn't rely on Expressions) and take out anything that requires Expressions...you would still have a decent rig. Other rigs you could use are the 2001 Rig and The Setup Machine...TSM sounds like the best choice for you if you can't use the Squetch Rig. Hope that helps. thanks...i'll give it a shot!
  2. I just replied to that post...it had only been up for two hours. Try to be a little more patient. Sometimes it might take an entire evening to get a response. Just for fun, I'm going to see how long it takes for you to respond to my post... sorry about that...i guess i should have been a little more patient i just hope i keep on getting responses to this thread....anyway, thanks for the post itsjustme!

  4. i'm sorry...maybie i wasn't that specific...i mean i need a tutorial on how to BUILD a squetch rig...
  5. i posted this in the newbies section, but got no response, not to mention barely any views. so, i'll try posting it here. so again i ask: does anyone know where i can find some (or at least one) tutorial(s) online about how to squetch rig a model in AM: 2004?

  7. kenH, i did EXACTLY that, and nothing happened...no spline, no nothing.
  8. acctually, you CAN import a .3ds model as a "model" instead of a "prop"....right clikck on "objects", scroll down to plug-ins (it should be the second-to-the-last item in the list), and when that menu pops up, scroll to import, and when THAT menu pops up, scroll to "3D Studio (Autodesk Ltd.) *.3ds", and voila!...
  9. robcat2075, i imported the .3ds file as a MODEL, not a prop. so now i REALLY don't know what's going on! (the objects icon in the PWS is a "thom".) zandoriastudios, yes, i am in the modeling window.
  10. i've tried closing AM and restarting it, and that did not work. however, i still havent tried the second thing you suggested as of yet...i'm going to boot-up my laptop give it a shot right now...
  11. ok...so i imported a .3ds model into AM: 2004. and it worked out successfully, but when i tried to build a different model from within AM: 2004 after importing the .3ds model, NONE of the modeling tools within AM worked! every time i would click on the spline tool to use it, the 'modeling' button in the tool bar at the top of the screen turns gray, and i can't even see the spline that i am creating! whats going on?!...
  12. hello...ijust bought AM 2004 off of ebay, and i was wondering if there are any tutorials on modeling a building in animation master...thanks in advance!
