  4. What the heck... I always thought Tony Lower-Basch was awesome but... How in the world did I never see his Simple Stanley model/rig? Move the character anywhere and the rig stays in place. FK/IK, Center of Gravity and all sorts of other neat things. Probably broke the model in messing around with it. This retrieved from a link on Vernon Zehr's A.R.M. site. 5. I agree that Wayback machine is your best path for recovering old user-written tutorials. I recently reconstructed Jeff Cantin's splinesmanship tut from that. If you know an old URL, it is a place to start. Note that the Wayback Machine may have archived a site many times, but not all of them may have the same resources (like JPGs, files to download, etc.)... so you have to check many of them. Some may be incomplete in every instance.

  8. A new render of this Feb 19 2004 entry in the Animation Showdown. I was pleased with this one. This was the first time I felt like i got a suggestion of weight in the motion.

  9. Yes, I entered the official contest! Before I entered the site and saw the examples. (happily) It took me more effort than I thought. Most time went up with the synchronity from seconds to Beats Per Minute. One thought during the project that stays me by was: it's not what I want to do with it, but how to keep up with it, Good promo for Animation:Master! ☺️

  12. Nicely done! And thanks for sending me down the internet rabbit hole to find images of the various guesses modelers have made for a rear view of the Maria robot; something Metropolis never showed.
