For this version, I started with the ball at a height of 48 inches with a 1/2 second intial drop. At the half-time of the initial fall, the ball height is 38.81 inches (2.8 inches higher than the chart on page 7 of the Animation Physics Timing Tutorial) to get better spacing.
I went with each bounce losing half of the energy, using the first bounce as guide for the timing of the following curves.
